I’ve been having this problem for a while, when I call someone, they answer and they can hear me but I can’t hear them.
Does the test call work? Sometime’s a network’s NAT settings can have an effect.
How do i do the test call?
Dial ‘test’
Ok, i dialed test and it just rung and then said request timeout
its still happening, i can never hear a call
What browser, and OS are you using? Also please try to run this test to see if you can use WebRTC:
https://test.webrtc.org/
I’m using Google Chrome on Windows 10
Ok, so i ran the test, and reflexive connectivity showed up as an issue, besides that, it was all green checks.
should I try it out on edge? I’ll give that a try.
that is the same thing my test showed and cant find anyone to help
Does the test call work? Sometime’s a network’s NAT settings can have an effect. Unfortunately not every network plays nice with FireRTC and it usually manifests itself in one way audio.
I am also having this issue, I’m using Chrome on Windows 10, when I did the webrtc test it told me my reflexive connectivity was no good, and I tried the test call twice and got hung up on halfway through both times. @keith were you saying this could be because of the NAT?
yeah, most likely NAT. try on another network if one is available to you just as a test.
