For all the new users that come here because they cannot create a new account or got locked out of their current account or as it happens more often these days, there are errors and FireRTC doesn’t work anymore:
FireRTC is dead. The owners and mods have not replied in over one year, haven’t unlocked existing accounts and FireRTC has not been accepting new accounts over two years now. Likelihood of reopening: almost zero. Existing users are complaining about lots of server downtimes and FireRTC not working reliably. It has been a valuable tool while it lasted nevertheless and I’m thankful to the devs that they allowed us to use their service for free.
Alternatives?
If you’re a scambaiter, try out BobRTC (https://bobrtc.tel/). It has been specifically created by scambaiters for scambaiters. It has tons of features like callerID spoofing, automatic call recordings, auto-redial, soundboards/voice bots and many more. Note that it doesn’t have an open dialpad, you can only call the confirmed scammer numbers that are added to the phonebook on a daily basis. If you want to learn more watch my tutorial on my YouTube channel: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DBPmlPJnNGc
If you want to do general purpose calls like calling your friends & relatives, try out TextNow (https://www.textnow.com/messaging). It’s easy to use, has an open dialpad and allows free calls to US, Canada, Germany and UK but requires you to be from US/Canada to be able to sign up for it. They have smartphone apps but also a web interface to make the calls. If you’re not from the US, ask a friend who is from there to create an account for you. Downside: hard to access if you’re not from US/Canada, you cannot change your callerID on every call.
If you need something to spoof your callerID to something specific, try out SIP services like voip.ms, Flowroute.com or plivo.com. Benefits: professional use, tons of features, call routing, callerID spoofing, buying numbers is pretty cheap. Downside: they are paid / you’ll need a credit card and you’ll need to use a software phone like Linphone, X-Lite or MicroSIP.
