Fuck Verizon. It turns out that was NOT a FireRTC-specific issue. This was an issue with my Verizon router. Apparently my Verizon router recently updated itself, and in the process it installed some kind of shitty McAfee Home Network Protection system. This is what was somehow flagging the various FireRTC web sites as being questionable for some reason. (I don’t know why it was doing that. For me the FireRTC web sites were the only ones that had this problem. But apparently others have reported similar problems with this McAfee Home Network Protection system and other web sites.) I found out how to turn off the McAfee Home Network Protection system, and now all is right with FireRTC and the world…
