FireRTC has changed recently and appears to me to work differently in many ways - some good, some puzzling
I was an early FireRTC adopter and was previously assigned an inbound number in Bismarck, ND - (701) 801-2XXX. This number no longer seems to work for inbound calls to FireRTC. ???
My SIP URI on FireRTC has apparently changed to the format ‘user@sip.devel.firertc.com’. I have tried but cannot reach this SIP URI from other services.
I was an existing CallCentric customer and signed up for a free NY DID. Have tested and this works when pointed at a SIP URI other than that previously referred to for FireRTC.
An IMPROVEMENT - I was also an existing Anveo customer but always experienced one-way audio when calling my Anveo DIDs from FireRTC. This seems to be FIXED - thanks!
At this point, I am a little confused by the seeming inability to call incoming to FireRTC. Can’t do it now by calling the previously assigned Bismarck, ND number. Can’t do it now by calling my OLD SIP URI ‘user@sip.firertc.com’. Can’t do it now by calling the NEW SIP URI ‘user@sip.devel.firertc.com’. Can’t do it now using the new CallCentric free NY DID I was assigned.
Any help appreciated from those who have had similar experiences -
