FireRTC always gives out phone number 4437470000 on Toll Free Numbers i.e 800,888,877,866,855,844,833. Wondering why? Now useless for scam-baiting TFN’s as the scammers can block FireRTC use.
It showed that number when I dialed 800-437-7950. I then tried another ANAC number 855-343-2255, it tells me the correct phone number, try it. Which number did you dial to verify the ANI and it showed 443-747-0000? It could be only certain numbers.
I dialed the MCI ANAC. ANI is different than CID. (Caller ID) FireRTC can be blocked as I’ve called a scammers number before and that particular one blocked that FireRTC’s number. FireRTC is not private and can be traced back to the source through the PSTN because it gives out the same ANI apparently. Notice how the moderator or admin has been silent. Maybe this was changed to combat abuse or maybe it has always be this way and I just noticed it – not sure.
Someone down the chain could be adding a P-Preferred-Identity or a P-Asserted-Identity or even manipulating our Remote-Party-ID. That’s the header we use to set the caller id. Any particular numbers where it doesn’t use the Caller ID you have set?
