I have tried Chrome, Chrome App, and Firefox, getting the exact same result on all platforms. Microphone always has access.
I am able to make the test call, hear the voice, its records my voice and I hear the playback.
When I call any real phone number, like my cell phone, my cell phone rings however any audio from browser to phone does not work, and any audio from cell phone to browser does not work either. Either party is unable to hear the other.
After the call connects, looking at the bottom person silhouette, the gray audio waves appear just above the mute button whenever I speak into the computer. There are no audio waves on the first silhouette which would be the phone user.
I thought this might be a Mac issue. and tried on a Windows machine with both Chrome and Firefox, exact same result.
I have seen Buddys comment that says “We are aware of this issue on some networks.” What does some networks mean? ISP? Phone provider network? What is the problem?
