Those don’t have the features I look for and its just cleaner. Google Hangouts you need an special plugin for. Voice probably sell your information and have an horrible TOS. Skype only works on Winblows and has ads all over it and horrible TOS. Textnow, your number expired after so long and you can’t call form a number that you already have. Talkatone, I have no experience with as you still need an mobile advice that has Ios or Android. I have an Window phone and I don’t use it really for anything else than calling or for maps.
The reason why I like FireRTC: the TOS and the flexibility. Its not lock on a platform, there are no ads, they don’t keep data on you probably.
One notable feature that I like about FireRTC is being able to record the phone call when you are dealing with crooked people such as deb collectors etc… It’s legal to record them cause they record you. I have also called someone that was doing undesirable things… and used what they said as proof. And since its store on the site and is not an local fire, it’s accessible form anywhere and form any device that as an internet connection.
I had also called someone that is mentally ill to check up on them form a certain phone number to get ahold form them that would had never answer with my own phone number.
Before my account got disable for non-tolled free. I used to sms message by Google voice. Call form FireRTC form that number. For accounts that has an phone number that I no longer had access to but it was an autonomic system and look up your phone number by caller ID and bought up your account… Otherwise, you might have to wait for office hours and prove who you are.
It’s also quite nice to you that you are able to call someone despite not actually having an phone number at all, just change your area code to one that doesn’t exist. So you know that you aren’t accidentally using someone elses.
This is what I have used FireRTC for.
