Usually, we get calls from scammers calling our house phone. Problem is we don’t have ‘Caller ID’ set up.
So what I’ve been doing is answer or take over the call, then I tell the scammer I have a problem with my house phone and can’t hear them, then I give them my cell phone number and have them call me back. Once the scammer calls me, I’ll play on them and waste as much time with them as possible. In the meantime, their number is secured in my ‘Recent’ list on my cell phone. During evening time, if possible, I’ll call them back and waste more of their time. That’s about the time they block my number out and I can’t continue pursuing them.
I do not know what a ‘sip address’ is nor do I know where to fine it. Likewise, I don’t know what a FireRTC number is either nor where to find it. Still, I will cooperate as well as possible.
It seems appropriate, as you’ve mentioned, if there are some bad players here, they should be purged out.
